One Month To Go!

Here I am, approaching the end of my second pregnancy, can that be for real? Sometimes I feel like it has dragged on, other times I can't even believe it's happening. Today marks one month till my due date, Christmas is over and now it's time to tie up loose ends and finish getting all the baby stuff out. I also want to take it easy and spend as much time as I can with Aiden to fill up his tank. ;-)

A couple of things have stood out to me during this pregnancy, first is Aiden doesn't have much of an idea of what's coming and yet I am so very excited for these two boys to be brothers and friends. To be able to play together and have such fun times! I also have no idea what to expect in loving another child, everyone says that your heart grows to love them the same as the first. I am interested and excited to experience that because I can't quite imagine it in it's fullest. We are very excited to meet our new little one and have our family and hearts grow!

Moments

It's moments like these that stop my heart and make me so thankful for how God has blessed us. There are moments that fill me with happiness; like this connection between a father and son. I love to see how much Aiden is loving it! I look forward to many more of these moments throughout the years. 

10 on 10 :: December

This month I wasn't super excited about taking pictures for the 10 on 10, I just didn't have the motivation or inspiration. lol. I decided I had better do it on the 6th, because how much longer can I wait. So, I started out with this picture.... woohoo, I made smoothies in the morning.

Then I was thinking about what I wanted to have as a result of this project, and it's not really that I made smoothies on December 6. Instead I want to capture the everyday of us, our lives. So, since Aiden and I were home all day all of the pictures basically are of Aiden. I want to remember who HE was on December 6, the fact that he loves drinking out of straws, including mommy's cup, that he asks to wear his hat almost everyday and that he loves to look at himself and make faces. Things like that, and I ended up having a fun time and am thankful for what I captured. :) Enjoy.

Nolan's Newborn Session

10 on 10 :: November

This month I chose Halloween for my 10 on 10 day, mostly it was a normal day of running around, but we did get to have a little extra fun and a little candy. :) Aiden and I did some errands which involved some stressful paint issues, but I'll save that for another time. :)

Aiden's New Room!

I'm very excited to share with you the finished product of Aiden's big boy room! We moved him into our guest/computer room. I've been thinking/planning it for a while now and it's cool to see it completed. We left the red wall we had, painted the other three gray and added one amazing blue stripe! It was amazing to see God provide through it all! We were either given things or purchased them at amazing prices! I owe a big thank you my friend Faye, who helped give me direction for the room becoming what it is! And of course to my husband, who listened to all my ideas over and over again, taped so we could have a straight stripe and just helped in lots of ways!! So, without further ado here it is!

Since Aiden loves cars so much, I took pictures of a few of his hot wheels and painted these frames for wall art!

Dan and I both love to hang out in there and it just might be my new favorite room in the house because it's so happy and bright! We have had him in there for about a week now and he has done really great! He still is learning, but I'm proud of how well he has done! I've started working on the nursery now and will be able to show you that in a couple months probably. :)
