Who Is Gavin?

Hi, my name is Gavin and I am 7 weeks old today. Here are some fun facts about me:

• My mom guesses I weigh about 10-12 pounds.
• The outfit in the first picture is 6 months! I still fit great into 3 months, but also some 6.
• I don't believe in sleeping during the day and my mom is still trying to figure that out.
• My mom washes my head every single day to help get rid of that itchy, flaky stuff.
• I sleep for one one 6-7 hour stretch at night.
• My mom talks about how much I spit up, but I can't help it when it comes up. :)
• If I am wearing a cute outfit, there's a good chance I will have a diaper explosion. 
• I smile many times a day.
• My favorite times of the day is after I eat and when my mom, dad or brother talk to me.
• My parents get so excited when I talk to them!
• I know I am deeply loved by those around me.

Gavin's Nursery Tour

I am so excited to share with you Gavin's nursery! It has been a long time of trying to figure out what to do and a lot of work put into it by so many people! I am very happy with how it turned out, it feels very peaceful and tranquil in there. :)  The blanket on the chair was my first purchase and inspiration. The rest of the room came from many hours of thinking, re-thinking & then creating!!

This quilt was put together by myself and a friend, Cindy.
My sister, Dawn added the back and did the quilting. Lots of love put into it!

This nursery could not of been possible without the help of so many, which makes it all the more special!

Since Winter is dragging on I decided to have a little fun with my studio set up. :)

Another Week Gone By...

This week at our house was another week of just enjoying being home and out of the cold. :) We continue to get more used to life with two boys, and I already can't believe how fast it's gone. Some highlights have been...

• I got to go to Target all by myself and Dan took me out to dinner, just us. :)
• We got to spend Saturday with our good friends, Tim & Arlee, and got some amazing family photos done. You can check out their website here.
• Gavin's umbilical cord finally fell off. Probably not a big deal to you, but it is SO much easier to change his diaper without that thing and I am looking forward to giving him a real bath. :)
• Aiden got to get out of the house a couple times and spend time with some of his favorite people!

 God has blessed us and we continue to thank Him!
