Last week I decided to take pictures throughout a day to depict a normal day for us. It was a Wednesday, so a little different in that we take Dan to work and have youth group at night! Hope you enjoy the glimpse into our life. :)

Another Week Gone By...

This week at our house was another week of just enjoying being home and out of the cold. :) We continue to get more used to life with two boys, and I already can't believe how fast it's gone. Some highlights have been...

• I got to go to Target all by myself and Dan took me out to dinner, just us. :)
• We got to spend Saturday with our good friends, Tim & Arlee, and got some amazing family photos done. You can check out their website here.
• Gavin's umbilical cord finally fell off. Probably not a big deal to you, but it is SO much easier to change his diaper without that thing and I am looking forward to giving him a real bath. :)
• Aiden got to get out of the house a couple times and spend time with some of his favorite people!

 God has blessed us and we continue to thank Him!

New Socks

Aiden's newest obsession is socks. He wants to change them at least twice a day, sometimes more. He doesn't like plain 'ol white ones, but any other one with color! His absolute favorite are his "Elmo socks". :) I have no idea how this love for new socks came about, but it's really funny to see what captures his attention and so I spent a couple days photographing a few of his favorites. 

Gavin's First Week

I would like to introduce you all to Gavin Daniel. 

Born Thursday, January 31 at 7:56 AM. 

Weighing 8 lbs. 3 oz. and 21.5 in.

We are blessed beyond measure and give all the praise entirely to God. This week our lives were changed for the better and I can't imagine life without this little boy!!!!

A Word in Pictures :: Winter

If you have been following this blog you know that on the tenth of every month myself and a group of friends have been posting ten pictures of our everyday life. We decided for the year of 2013 to change the project a little bit. We will be posting on the last day of the month and will all be photographing throughout the month with the same theme in mind. Appropriately enough this month we decided to do "Winter". Now each person of course has the choice to take the theme in anyway they like. 

For my first post I kind of took the easy way out....using the fact that I am 9 months pregnant and feeling up to doing much. :) Combined with the fact that I am definitely not a fan of winter, which makes it a little hard to be inspired. lol. So, I am simply posting pictures of Aiden's frist couple experiences in the snow. 

Since I live in the North East, Winter is inevitable. So, a couple of the things that help me through

are of course Christmas and Dan and I are big fans of our hot chocolate/cappuccino concoctions!!!
